At Frøken Jensen’s we value quality. Fresh ingredients, good service and professional pride are the keywords of our business.

 

 

MENU

 

We have created an all-round menu presenting Danish classics as well as more trendy food. We always use fresh ingredients of a good quality and we prepare all the food from scratch when possible.

 

We wish to create a nice atmosphere and to give our guests individual attendance.

 

 

WINE LIST

 

Food and wine belong together. Our wine list is compiled so that wine and food are a unified experience. With a view to all our guests we have a broad selection of grapes from different countries and regions.

 

Deciding what menu to choose might be difficult, we will be happy to guide you.

 

 

STORY OF THE BUILDING

 

The building, where Frøken Jensen’s is sited, dates back to 1761. The house has been rebuilt several times.

 

From 1776 till 1847 the house functioned as a bakery. When we rebuild the house into Frøken Jensen’s we found soot from the baking oven – an amusing detail – which ads extra soul and charm to the place.

 

In the years 1847 to 1857 living quarters were made on the 1st floor. And the story goes that in 1867 there was a milliner boutique.

 

A very old and interesting building in which we try to keep and restore the details to continue enjoying the ancient atmosphere in the house.
